AGILENT: Advanced DSP Simulation, Design and Implementation
SystemVue2009 is a focused EDA environment that enables system architects and algorithm developers to design general baseband DSP systems, and in particular to innovate the physical layer (PHY) of next-generation wireless, mobile and aerospace/defense communications systems. SystemVue also provides unique value to RF, DSP, and FPGA/ASIC implementers who rely on signal processing to deliver the full value of their hardware platforms. SystemVue replaces general-purpose digital, analog, and math environments by offering a dedicated platform signal processing realisation. SystemVue "speaks RF", cuts development and verification time in half, and connects to your mainstream EDA flow.
Frank Ditore from Agilent eesof (Atlanta, USA) will be on-hand to demonstrate, answer questions and discuss licensing and partnering for industry and academia and how to obtain a free trial copy.

Wednesday 1:30pm-2:10pm

SYNOPSYS: DSP Design: Concept to Implemention using SynplifyDSP
Using the Synplify DSP tool, DSP system and algorithm designers can quickly capture complex algorithmic behaviour using the Synplify DSP library, which includes powerful modeling features such as vector arithmetic, fixed-point precision up to 128-bits, and a rich set of IP cores. The Synplify DSP synthesis engine runs inside the Mathworks Simulink software and allows designers to automatically implement and explore area/speed-optimized implementations for FPGAs and ASICs from a single model thus eliminating the burden of hand-coding functions and architectural optimizations
Pierluigi Lo Muzio will demonstrate the SnyplifyDSP tool and be available to discuss opportunities for licensing and partnering for industry and academia and will review how to obtain trial demos licences.

Thursday 1:15pm - 2:10pm

FREESCALE SEMINCONDUCTOR
GO-Wireless
Meeting and Presentation
Freescale Semiconductor, a leading supplier of integrated circuits (IC) for Wireless Infrastructure equipment, invites you to the Go Wireless seminar During this seminar we will present our architectural approach for wireless infrastructure equipment based on our state of the art IC’s, including: (1) Digital Signal Processors (DSP);   (2) Communication processors; (3) Multi-core architectures; (4) Application software for Long Term Evolution (LTE) Layer 1 and Layer 2/3 processing.
A team from Freescale Semiconductor (East Kilbride, Scotland) will be on hand to discuss and review the opportunities for partnership with both industry and academia.
